I am sorry, but you need know

Let me start by saying I am sorry to my readership for pointing you to this blog entry, but it is one you need to know about. This blog entry is sad, horrifying and very graphic. That warning is right up front. If you have a squeamish stomach or don’t think you can handle it, then have someone else read it to you and edit out the parts. However AMERICA needs to know.

His adrenalin already maxed and because of Arlington’s ineptness, the father instinctively jumps onto the truck in his dress clothes despite the rancid odor. The father begins digging through…

The boardwalk

I walked this entire boardwalk when I was in Kandahar on my way into Afghanistan about three weeks ago. The TGI Fridays was not open yet when I was there and I wasn’t in the mood for the KFC. I ended up having a very good beef gyro at one of the other eateries. The boardwalk is about the only decent thing in Kandahar, to include the hockey rink in the middle of the boardwalk.

The one establishment that is not at the boardwalk but that is also very popular is the Tim Horton’s. If you have ever lived in Canada or near the canadian border, then you know what a Timmy Ho’s is (Canadians called it Tim’s).

Check out the story about the boardwalk at www.thestate.com/2010/09/06/1452271/kandahar-boardwalk-is-a-world.html
