And I can't understand how it DID happen. How inaccurate could they have been, on the aircraft, about where to make the drop??? Did they only have an area of a few feet away from the water in which to make the drop? Can they be trained to let the damn equipment GO, if it's too dangerous to rescue it? Could they have lowered a ladder to him from the aircraft - the plane could have moved faster than the river, couldn't it??? Could they have gotten ahead of him, tied some guys together and grabbed him??? I HATE it when our guys die!!! :'( It breaks my heart that it happened! And I can’t understand how it DID happen.
