As a veteran myself,I can't believe that the American military, cannot see right through what psychs are doing. Psychs are out for all the money they can rake in, and could really care less about our wonderful veterans. The American media, and its publishers, and reporters seem to have little interest in publishing the truth about mental health services. About the atrocities within licensed mental health treatment facilities. The 1999 comprehensive GAO Investigatory report, concerning patient abuse by staff was not properly reported upon. The unreliable, and unaccountable treatment modalities which produce stigma, and destroy relationships. Consequently very few people know the results of investigatory reports, concerning cruel psych treatments given to vulnerable children, and innocent adults. .-= bill´s last blog ..Top Droppers for December =-.

Evidence shows that many kill themselves after a mental health professional talks to one about being a “menal patient”, or shortly after psychotreatment begins. The psych diagnostic cookbook is the DSM or the Diagnostic and Statistical “Manual” of Mental illnesses). It is reported to be non-medical, non-scientific, unaccountable, and unreliable. (www.adhdfraud.com). Its rhetoric conveys feelings of hopelessness, and inadequacy. (Thomas Szasz, M.D. “The Myth of Mental Illness”) It seems to push those already vulnerable into suicide. (www.antipsychiatry.org) Physicians like our brave veterans also have a high rate of suicide, yet even physicians refuse psych treatments: then many physicians go on to commit suicide. Data show that physicians report that psychotherapy tends to cause further career, family, and recovery problems. In addion that it causes a lack of confidence, and low self-exteem. Perhaps we should examine what it is with mental health rhetoric, and psych attitudes which tends to cause even physicians, to prefer suicide over psychotreatment???

First of all I would lkie to convey my warmest concern, and sincere understanding to General Graham, and his family. I am a Vietnam veteran. Soon after being honorably discharged I allowed myself to receive “mental health” (is this an oxymoron??) services. Psych lingo, and its slanderous epithets made me feel like an oddbaIl. It negatively effected my career, my confidence, and my family. I soon became divorced. In the military we learn to respect, and to treat others with human dignity. Evidence shows that mental health language produces humiliation, disrespect, and ridicule. Mental health terminlogy is perjorative, and indeed works against recovery. The negative language of the DSM conveys hopelessness, and permanent incompetency. This can lead those, ialready in a very vulnerable state to additional dispair, and perhaps to self-destructive acts. I know because I’ve been there. Doesn’t the data show, that most people refuse “mental patient” status, for very good reasons??? Thank you.
