Carolyn, you are so right. The Taliban doesn’t drop bombs on wedding parties, they blow them up with roadside bombs, http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/8186882.stm

Out of the hundreds of sorties we fly every day dropping ordinance the amount of times we accidently kill (and I don’t mean the ones that the bad guys are hiding behind) pure innocent civilians is less than .001%. Since we accidently killed hundreds if not thousands of Europeans with our carpet bombing in WWII, I wonder were you rooting for the Nazis like you root for the Taliban?

you’re completely wrong about the amount of dead civilians. according David Kilcullen, who designed Petraeus’ counter insurgency strategy in Iraq we’ve killed 14 al qaeda in pakistan and 700 civilians, that’s one al qaeda for every 50 civilians. so the real total is not .001% but probably 98%.

    http://www.alternet.org/blogs/video/139843/the_perils_of_predator_drones_in_pakistan

As David Kilcullen, the counterinsurgency expert who designed Gen. Petraeus’s Iraqi surge, recently told the House Armed Services Committee, “We need to call off the drones.” This covert plan, first approved by Bush (and continued by Obama) to skirt Pakistan’s refusal to allow U.S. troops into the country, uses unmanned aerial drones remotely controlled by the CIA to hunt down suspected terrorists and insurgents. But as Kilcullen claimed, it’s backfiring, prompting more Taliban extremists to take up arms against the U.S.-backed Pakistani government and driving them deeper into the country.

    Kilcullen explained:

“Since 2006, we’ve killed 14 senior Al Qaeda leaders using drone strikes; in the same time period, we’ve killed 700 Pakistani civilians in the same area. The drone strikes are highly unpopular. They are deeply aggravating to the population. And they’ve given rise to a feeling of anger that coalesces the population around the extremists and leads to spikes of extremism. … The current path that we are on is leading us to loss of Pakistani government control over its own population.”

you’ve been lied to all your life about the crimes that america perpetrates against other countries. since wwii we tried to overthrow 50 governments abroad, mostly because they refused to open their economy up to our exploitation. you can read the list here:

as for who i’m rooting for. i’m rooting for america to stop driving drunk. when you’re dad drives drunk you don’t hope he gets into a car accident you hope that he will sober up. it’s my wish that america will sober up, stop killing people and stop invading other people’s country.

      Carolyn,

The numbers are un-substantiated, there are Aussies Spec Ops guys who call him a fruitcake and can’t stand him and you quote the Counterpunch. Interesting choice as it is viewed as a anti-semitic and is run by a granola head nut and a guy who is known to be a pretty far left moonbat who thought we were too mean to Sadaam for all his killing, raping and plundering oh and for trying to shoot down our pilots. Good picks there Carolyn. Ultra-left jewish haters, is that what they taught you in your Catholic religious classes.
