What a touching post. I’ve always felt the same way about the 4th of July – loving everything about it – until last year when I spent my July 4th without my (now) husband. It was a very emotional day and I know it must have been hard for you going through that three years in a row. I’m so happy for you that you had both your husband and your son with you this year! I had mine with me too, and it was one of the best July 4ths I can remember!
