I think he is being fired for contradicting the President over the weekend. He is wanting to investigate the air strikes in Farah Province, while the President is already apologizing to the world for an act he has already decided was our fault as the enemy says it is. McChrystal is a good leader from what I have heard, but he brings baggage from the Pat Tillman scandal.
