Mal James, who is the cameraman with Fox News reporter Dana Lewis, is also writing blog dispatches from Afghanistan. I just read one of his latest and I sit here in utter disgust. What is sad is I spent a year over in Afghanistan watching most of our NATO/ISAF “partners” do little to nothing in country. Well if we are all supposed to be on one team, a coalition to save Afghanistan, then we should all be treated the same.
Get ready to be pissed off after you read this. Get ready to develop some resentment against a few of our coalition “partners” based on how they are spending their time in the war zone versus how our guys are doing it (getting shot at and killed not only by the enemy but also by the forces we mentor).
Ohh….the Bouhammer is really looking forward to your comments on this one so please let me know how you feel by clicking on “comment” below.
Want to know how the troops feel about ISAF forces? This was recently sent to me by someone fresh from the Stan.
OUR DEFINITION OF ISAF= I SUCK AT FIGHTING I SIT AT FOB I STEAL AMERICANS FOOD I STALK AMERICAN FEMALES

It looks like you and B5 have similar thoughts. It seems the German SOF are leaving Afghanistan without having gone on any missions. Interesting concept in showing support.
I Saw Americans Fight
Thank Juan, that is a new one I had never heard.
MsMarti covered it. Blackfive’s COB6 lambasted the German Special Forces.
We didn’t run into many foreign forces in Iraq, I wonder if American forces are running into the same problems there. It is demoralizing, the minute these countries suffer a loss they are quick to pull out of combat operations, mainly on the urging of their people on the government to cease operations. You would think they would act differently, they would definitely act differently if they were figthing the war because their nation was attacked.
Well, isn’t that just precious…
And we care that these other countries “like us” ~ Why??
In 2005-2006 we had a double sized (about 20 pax) Romanian ETT with us in Gardez.
I know they went out on missions.
I recall they went to the border with their Kandak when it moved out of Gardez.
I’d say the salsa classes, ice cream, etc. is reflective of headquarters conditions.
When I was at U.S. Embassy Baghdad, we had prime rib every Sunday.
I think I’m mistaken in the previous post. Prime rib was once a week, but Sunday was a
workday. Maybe it was every Friday. Just to correct the record.
Don’t forget the classic one….
ISAF = I’m Stupid As F&*#
I guess that the British, Canadian, Dutch, Danish, Romanian and Aussie soldiers in the south on daily combat missions with daily contacts don’t count. They’re “freeloaders” too, right?
